Carne Asada is not a crime…

…but calling it ‘asada’ when it hasn’t seen a flame may be.

It appears that someone in LA is trying to put your tax dollars to good use by curbing assaults on the Spanish language.

OK, putting the pedantry aside for a second… if they come for the taco trucks, and I do not speak up, there will be no one left to speak when they come for the makeshift taco stands with melting hoses as gas lines (I saw this happen at Metro Balderas yesterday—I guess I should have mentioned it earlier). Save them. Please.

“if you ever come back” to LA we will have to do a carne asada tour and see if anything works for you. now i’ve got to know how our favorite stands & trucks rate. if we really do have the largest spanish-speaking population outside mexico city, it seems like we’d HAVE to have good asada, unless it really is something in the water.

omg, does your comment form have a lower case l in “URl”–am i going to have to tell the lower case l blog? or did it change to i when i wasn’t paying attention?

Yes, plz.

Pedantic nerds prefer ‘identifier’ over ‘locator’, for its generality. I should probably edit that.
